Aid Station / Ultra Support

Aid Stations

Aid stations for the 50 miler are located at 11 preset points along the course - see map. Aid stations for the 50K race are located at 7 preset points. Aid stations are designated on the map by a circled "T#" (for "transition") and on the course by ULTRA FEED ZONE signs. For a list of stocked items, see "Food, Drink & First Aid" below*. All aid stations are staffed by race officials with radio communication links to emergency medical staff and the race directors.

50 Mile Cut Off Times

Runners have a 12-hour time window in which to finish. The race begins at 7 a.m. and the course closes at 7 p.m.

Aid station captains will strictly enforce the cut-off times that are posted for designated aid stations. Cut-off times are departure times, NOT arrival times. If you’re not out of the station by the cut-off, your race is over. Aid station captains also have the authority to pull you from the course if it is clear that you are physically unable to continue in a safe manner. Their decisions are final. Runners should have reached Aid Station #7 (about 30 miles) by 2:15 p.m.; Aid Station #9 (about 39.5 miles) by 4:30 p.m.; and Aid Station #11 (about 46 miles) by 6:00 p.m.

100 Mile Cut Off Times

Runners will have a 28-hour time window to complete the 100 mile course.
