2024 - Centre Region Down Syndrome Society
Centre Region Down Syndrome Society. CRDSS is a hands-on organization that provides individuals with Down syndrome and their families the tools, resources, and support necessary to participate in, contribute to, and achieve personal health and fulfillment. CRDSS serves families throughout the central PA region, with a majority in Centre County. Their services are focused on health enhancement, social connection, family support and advocacy.
2023 - Nittany Grayhounds
Nittany Greyhounds is a 100% donation-based non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness for retired racing greyhounds and placing greyhounds into responsible, loving homes. We rely on the dedication and support of volunteers to help us carry out our mission. All proceeds go to medical expenses, transportation, adoption efforts, awareness and education.
2022 - Dyslexia Reading Center
The Dyslexia Reading Center is focused on three goals: to provide the highest quality evidence-based, multi-sensory reading and writing instruction to individuals with dyslexia and/or learning differences; to train tutors in the Orton-Gillingham method of multi-sensory teaching in reading, writing, and spelling; and to educate the public about dyslexia and the
need for more effective instruction of students with dyslexia in public education.
2021 - CommonFood Centre County
The mission of CommonFood Centre County is to resource under-served and under-employed elderly, single-parent families, and low-income families in western Centre County and neighboring areas with nutritious food and related services. These resources are procured through numerous partners including food banks, churches, restaurants, grocery stores and other interested businesses and individuals of Centre County who wish to donate time and funding.

2018 - Team Ream Foundation
The Team Ream Foundation is a not-for-profit organization established to preserve the memory, to grow the legacy, and to carry on the fight, the will and determination of Brandon Ream for future generations. ​ The mission of the Team Ream Foundation is to assist the everyday lives of financially disadvantaged individuals in State College and surrounding areas who have been affected by cancer and serious medical conditions.

2015 - Mid-State Literacy Council
Mid-State Literacy Council is a nonprofit organization created in 1971 to bring literacy in all forms to adults in Centre and Clearfield counties. From English Language Learners who have immigrated to the U.S., to those who grew up here and emerged from our region’s school systems with only rudimentary reading skills, Mid-State Literacy Council’s volunteers have educated and empowered thousands of area adults.

The Cancer Survivors' Association is a support organization offering Centre County, PA residents living with cancer encouragement and an opportunity to learn skills, gather information and meet social and emotional needs.

The House of Care (1994–2021) was a non-profit personal care home for
those with very low income and little to no family support and serious health limitations.
2012 - Tides Inc
Tides provides support programming to children, teens and adults who are
grieving the death of a loved one. We believe that grief is a natural and normal process that is unique to each person. By offering a judgement-free and caring environment, Tides helps individuals of all ages journey through their own individualized healing process.
2011 - Bob Perks Fund
The Bob Perks Cancer Assistance Fund helps ease the financial burden
of individuals and families in our community who are battling cancer by providing funding for basic necessities so their focus is on treatment and recovery.
2010 - Centre House
The mission of Housing Transitions is to assist families and individuals to
achieve a more independent lifestyle by providing a continuum of effective and well-managed housing-related services. Ultimately, Housing Transitions strives to end homelessness in Centre County. The Centre House shelter program provides the first step for those experiencing homeless with a safe, secure environment 24/7 for men, women and families while setting goals and working toward a more sustainable and permanent living situation.

2007 - Col. Gerald F. Russell Scholarship Fund
The Scholarship was established to provide post-secondary education financial support for children and grandchildren of Centre County Servicemen and women who served their country since September 11, 2001.
2006 - Youth Aid Panel
Youth Aid Panel is a program of the Center for Alternatives in Community Justice that allows first-offender juveniles to restore the community they live in through community service and assignments. The assignments vary according to the discretion of the panel of monitors, who oversee the program. The monitors invite the juveniles to sign a contract. If the juvenile completes the contract within the time frame, they will graduate. Therefore, no criminal records will persist.
2005 - Jared Box Project
The mission of the Jared Box Project is to entertain and put a smile on
the faces of children in the hospital. The Jared Box Project was started in 2001 by the children of Our Lady of Victory School in State College, Pennsylvania, to honor their classmate and friend, Jared. Since then, more than 1,000,000 Jared Boxes have been delivered to over 500 hospitals across the United States.
2004 - Centre Hall Area Branch Library
Opening in 1997, the Centre Hall Area Branch Library is the latest addition to the Centre County Library & Historical Museum system.

Rothrock Trail Alliance, a committee of ClearWater Conservancy, works to promote and support responsible public access to, education about, and enjoyment and stewardship of Rothrock State Forest for current and future generations.

Pennsylvania Dance Theatre, PDT, (1979–2004) was one of the premier professional dance companies in Pennsylvania, commissioning new work by leading modern dance choreographers, presenting breathtaking performances at home and abroad, and providing professional dance instruction to hundreds of young people and adults.
